No one ever thought that Chris Bosh was the end all be all for the Toronto Raptors. But those people also would agree that the team without Bosh was certainly not as good or close to what they could be. So when Bosh was gone for five games with a strained groin, the Raptors struggled to find an identity without their team leader.
But that all changed with his return against the Rockets. As the team faced a double-digit halftime deficit, Bosh ended up with 21 and 10 to spur the Raptors to a big 13 point win over a good Houston team. The team now sits at 11-10 and looks to improve now that Bosh is back to full health. The Raptors won despite a very off night from T.J. Ford, who only scored 3 points and had 4 assists on 1-9 shooting--ouch!
For every down player there was for the team, there was also a surprising player that stepped up. Kris Humphries, who has not really done a whole heckuvalot his entire NBA career, was second in scoring with 16 and also grabbed 9 boards. This is a great thing for the Raptors, as they do not have to always rely upon Ford or Bosh.
