Bulls take advantage of Lebron's spasms

zydrunnoah.jpg

A short time ago, the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers made a pretty big trade, which sent embattled center Ben Wallace to the Cavs and the Bulls got Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden. When the two faced each other in Cleveland, Hughes made sure to send a message to his former team that they made a mistake in letting him go, scoring 19 of 25 points in the second half to send his new team to a victory on a familiar floor. Hughes also added nine assists and eight rebounds.

The Bulls certainly have had their share of disappointment this year, but they can certainly take pride in the fact that this game--playing against one of the better teams in the league--the Bulls fought and fought back hard--coming back from a 19 point deficit in the second half and winning by 3.

Lebron James scored 33 for the Cavaliers, but his back started spasms in the fourth quarter, and the team struggled mightily when their floor leader couldn't obviously play up to his capabilities. He only scored 1 point in the fourth quarter and missed all five field goal attempts in the final frame. The Cavs certainly need James to win, but they don't HAVE to have him--and so they had better figure out what to do when things like this happen in the playoffs else they'll be going home....quick.
