Cavaliers welcome back Pavlovic with open arms

pavlovic.jpg

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been like the walking wounded. With Eric Snow for up to six weeks due to arthritis for his knee, mostly due to an operation he had earlier in the season. Of course when you are talking about injuries and the Cavs, Zydrunas Ilgauskas is always listed in there, but instead of his foot being an issue, it's now his back. And newly acquired Ben Wallace has also been having back spasms, so the only "back" that the Cavaliers want to hear is that someone is coming--back.

Cue Sasha Pavlovic.

Pavlovic, who has been absent since January 23 with injuries of his own, joined the team today, a move that the Cavs couldn't be happier about. While they are not at full strength, Pavlovic will at least take some pressure off of the double and triple teaming of Lebron James. Plus, doctors have cleared him to not be limited by minutes at all, and coach Mike Brown said he will try to get Pavlovic as much as he can--but at the time of this writing, late in the fourth quarter, Pavlovic has been a non-factor with no points and 1 turnover.

Ouch.

That's one word the Cavs don't want to hear anymore.
