Did Hell just freeze over? Nuggets and Warriors win opening games

Wow.

That's about all I can say. Wow. In what was really supposed to be two lopsided series, the Denver Nuggets and Golden St. Warriors upended the stunned Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs in convincing fashion Sunday.

What's next? The Cubs winning the World Series?

Ok, so maybe this a little premature to be crowning either of these teams champions, but let's be honest. Baron Davis and co. have absolutely no pressure to win, and really no one (myself included) gave Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson the chance to beat the Spurs in the series. And yet now the tables have turned quickly for home court, and now Golden St. is 4-0, that's right, four wins to no losses, to a team that only lost 15 all year.

So, what's next? Well, for the Mavericks and Spurs, it's all about control--tempo, game style, everything. By doing what they did all throughout the year, they should be able to take back control and end this little revolution. But the scary thing is--all the Warriors and Nuggets have to do is doing what they did on Sunday--play loose, hustle, and continue to play one game at a time.

It's worked so far.
