Ford recovering after scary collision

Just when things were looking really great for the Toronto Raptors, a huge thing that was too-too scary occurred: T.J. Ford went down, and he went down hard. Facing the Atlanta Hawks, Ford had what seemed to be a breakaway layup and then Horford tried to foul him, but the whack across his back sent Ford hurtling towards the floor, where he literally bounced his head off the court.

It was a tense time--Ford had to be carried off in a stretcher and was taken to a local hospital. However, after several tests were negative, he was released and returned to Toronto for the game this evening and attended in street clothes. Not only does it seem like the Raptors will again be blessed with Ford's presence sooner than thought, but the fact that it wasn't serious is huge.

Horford was ejected for the hard foul and will more than likely be fined. Check out the foul below:
