Howard dominates Knicks

Dwight Howard continued his superman antics again last night. He dominated the paint scoring 26 points and grabbing 22 rebounds against the Knicks, who were playing without Zack Randolph. Winning the game 118-92, the Magic improved their record to 3-0 against the Knicks this year. It was Howard's seventh 20/20 game of the season. The Magic trio of Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis and Howard scored 78 points, and at times looked like they were playing against a college team. Turkoglu finished the game just short of a triple double with 25 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Lewis had 22 points and seven boards.

Orlando played without guards Jameer Nelson and Keyon Dooling, but Carlos Arroyo filled in admirably with 13 points and 8 assists and only one turnover. The Knicks continued their downward spiral. It was their 41st loss of the season which means they will have seven consecutive losing seasons. Probably not what Knicks management had in mind when they handed the team over to Isiah Thomas. It just goes to show that being a great player (Jordan) doesn't always translate into being a great coach or executive.
