Kidd's near triple double upsets Magic

netmagic.jpgThe Nets haven't exactly been playing outstanding ball the entire year. Despite having perennial all-stars Vince Carter and Jason Kidd on their squad, New Jersey has been stumbling around .500 for a while now.

However, in Orlando tonight, the Nets overcame a mountainous 15 point deficit and rode the "almost" triple doubles by both Kidd and Carter to upset the Magic 96-95. New Jersey has now won five of their last six and this close game was similar to the buzzer-beater the Nets won over the Bulls on Hedo Turkoglu's last second shot.

This may have symbolized a true turnaround for the Nets, beating a very good Orlando team on their home floor, not folding on the road--it's just what these big-name stars get paid big-name bucks for. It also helped that seven--count 'em--seven--players scored in double figures, which shows again the depth of the team.

Watch out guys, the Nets are just getting started...
