Knicks ordered to pay 11.6 million in sexual harassment suit

In what came as no surprise to basically anyone, even Knicks management, a judge ordered he owners of the New York Knicks to pay $11.6 million to a former team executive who turned away unwanted advances from coach Isiah Thomas.

Anucha Browne Sanders, a former exec of the team, had sued the team for the sexual harassment , and the jury said that Thomas and three others, but chairman James Dolan only fired her "out of spite".

The result: The Garden owes $6 million for condoning a hostile work environment and $2.6 million for retaliation. Dolan owes $3 million. Though Thomas is off the hook for any damages, he leaves the case with a tarnished image.

Isiah has dug this franchise into the ground. It's time to put a fork in him, because he's way past being well done. The Knicks have always been a storied franchise, but this is just a bad dream for fans and a fantasy for the NY media.
