Kobe's Drama deserves to stay in La-La Land

Tired of hearing about Kobe Bryant? Well, just like those that are tired of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton--too bad, because it's hear to stay.

With an offseason for Bryant marred by his inability to keep his mouth shut both on camera and on his website, he's not only once again made himself look like a classless idiot like he did during his little incident in Colorado, he's once again proving that merely being a superstar doesn't give one the right to be a jerk. (Special footnote for Charles Barkley).

And now that his coach and him are verbally sparring (Come on Phil, don't get sucked into this again!), it all dawns on me--Kobe deserves to stay in the gossip-hungry drama that is LA, as there's an irony to the fact that it is home to all of the made-for-TV events that drip with unnecessary stress and meaningless drivel. Although he'll probably end up in Chicago, which should be fun as Mariotti and Co. take pot shots at him daily, Kobe to me is nothing more than just an overgrown kid with too much money and not enough sense. Grow up and do us all a favor--shut up and play ball. It's what we're paying 100 bucks a pop to see you do anyway--because of YOUR contract!!!
