NBA Draft Live Blog: First Round Picks 16-20

9:10: With the 16th pick the Wizards select Nick Young. Good pick for the Wiz. He could help replace Arenas should he not re-sign with them after next season.

9:14: Ric Bucher is reporting a trade between the Knicks and the Blazers....

Knicks get: Zach Randolph, Dan Dickau, and Fred Jones

Blazers get: Channing Frye, and Steve Francis

What the hell is going on? This looks like a GOOD trade for the Knicks. What the hell are the Blazers thinking? STEVE FRANCIS? Seriously? This is the guy they get back for Zach Randolph? Wow...just wow. This looks like a great trade for the Knicks. First the Hawks have a great draft and now the Knicks make a good trade. This is it folks...the end of the world is coming! RUN!

9:16: With the 17th pick the Nets select Sean Williams. Williams has first round talent, but not really a big character guy as he got kicked out of Boston College. I'm sure he'll go well with Vince Carter as a mentor.

9:21: I'm still reeling from the Randolph trade. If that's all it took, why didn't the Pistons make a run at him? I can't believe someone actually took Steve Francis and his horrible contract. Just amazing. Well I hope Oden doesn't like to shoot because between Francis and Darius Miles there won't be any shots to go around.

9:23: With the 18th pick the Warriors select Marco Belinelli. Marco is the first Euro taken in this draft and he's also the first guy to come out of the crowd to shake Stern's hand up on the stage. Hopefully they'll have Vitale on to completely hate on this pick like he usually does.

9:24: The Lakers are on the clock and Jim Gray was able to pull himself away from giving Kobe his daily massage long enough to give us a report on the Lakers not wanting to trade Kobe. Essentially it's the same news you've heard ever since Kobe demanded the trade. Hard hitting stuff. Ric Bucher comes on to challenge Gray's "Kobe BFF" status with some insight into what Kobe's thinking. For a guy who's not really liked by a lot of people, Kobe seems to be friends with a lot of media guys.

9:28: Stephen A. is having a coronary about the Kobe situation. I would tell you what he said but my ears are bleeding.

9:29: With the 19th pick the Lakers select Javaris Crittenton. I guess that means Jordan Farmar is a bust already? Hopefully somebody has a digi cam over a Kobe's to get his thoughts on the pick. I'm sure he's got a couple of F-bombs to drop on the subject.

9:30: Dear God, they put Vitale and Stephen A. in a double box with each other. I put the TV on mute so that I wouldn't blow out my speakers.

9:32: Am I the only one who's sick of the Chuck and Dwayne Wade commercials? It just makes me dislike Wade more and more.

9:35: With the 20th pick in the 2007 Draft the Heat select Jason Smith. Fantastic! Another future bust for a Pistons rival! It's like the Bulls and Heat are reading my diary or something. Great job guys!
