Do you hear the booooooos? How about the large cheers?? Well, if you are talking about one player in particular, it has to be Joakim Noah. While he ignited his team through the last two years with emotional leadership, fans either loved him or hated him--and with good reason. On the plus side, Noah brings size and savvy to the center position, but on the negative side, his consistency could be maddening to many fans.
In the NBA, he will get plenty of the contact that he has become accustomed to and thrives on. Finishing strong at both ends of the floor, his shot-blocking ability is not matched by many of this year's talent pool. Still, his lanky frame have some critics saying that over the long course of a season that the thuggish game inside the paint will wear on him. That could also be a factor because his ability to slash is somewhat limited.
I like this guy--I think he's a gamer. Look for him to go early.
