Noah arrives in Bulls win

jianlianbucks.jpg Joakim Noah has had a bit of pressure on him since Ben Wallace left the Chicago Bulls. The rookie from Florida hasn't exactly been overwhelming for the guard-heavy team, but in the absence of forward Drew Gooden, Noah took the team on his proverbial shoulders and they actually--heavens behold!--won a game late. Even if it was against the Keystone Cops, or Milwaukee Bucks.

Noah had 18 points, 15 boards, and four blocks as the Bulls held off the Bucks 114-111 in the Bulls' 54th consecutive sellout at the United Center. The win was just the 4th in 12 games and while they have a very outside chance of making the playoffs, the team just hasn't looked like they've had the will at all in March. But at least they are not the Bucks, who just can't seem to do anything right, losing their 12th of 14 in March.

Depending on how Noah keeps on going, I still think the Bulls may go after a good center in the draft, either as a backup to Noah if they continue to try to develop him, or maybe just concede early that perhaps he is not in the franchise's future plans. At least if he can continue to improve he will give them a "beautiful mess" to think about rather than just shaking their heads in dismay.
