Oh Oh It's Magic...Ya know...Orlando finishes off unbeaten road trip

When Orlando went out and grabbed Rashard Lewis this offseason, the public could sense that the Magic were making the moves to move them to the next level. When the failed hiring of Billy Donovan was finally over and done with, naysayers again pointed out that overall the Magic were still considerably Bush League.

But from the indications of the beginning of the season, the former is definitely showing more than the latter. Completing a 4-0 road trip, the Magic are back home to face the mighty Suns and are atop the Southeast standings. While Lewis has been good as expected, Dwight Howard has continued his ascension among the NBA's elite and the underrated Jameer Nelson has been leading the point with passion and efficiency.

Stan Van Gundy, who never really fit in in Miami, has seemed to find a place among the blue-collar players the Magic have--no big prima donnas, no me me me types, just guys that gel well together and play to win--what more can you ask for? While the cynics will say that the 4-0 road trip wasn't exactly over the bullies of the league, it's still notable anytime you can put together a streak away from home. This could be the feel-good story of the year.
