Sure, it's not like they have beaten the huge teams of the NBA. But hey--starting out 2-0 was something no one thought the Pacers could do--maybe not even themselves. But showing heart by coming back from seven points down with four minutes to go against the Miami Heat have people raising their eyebrows--maybe even rethinking the team overall.
Danny Granger, who had 25 and 13 against the Heat, is starting to think that way. "We're not going to win every game, but we're not going to stop playing," Granger said. "We're going to play our style until the buzzer. I would bet to say we're going to win more than we're going to lose." (Credit AP)
And Jermaine O'Neal, who some thought would not even don a Pacers jersey this season, was darn near a triple double, and even tied his career high for assist. That's a good sign for the guy who has basically been the go-to option for years.
Now, if they can only keep themselves out of the courtrooms, they'd probably be something to really fear....
