Parker Collects Another Ring!

Congratulations to Tony Parker and Eva Longoria, who tied the knot today, that seemingly magical 07-07-07. Parker and Longoria were married in Paris at a classic church of French royals, and was even officiated by the mayor of Paris.

Parker, who was raised in France but born in Belgium, was called a "model against racism". The two have been followed by the paparazzi for a long time now, amid speculation here and there, but survived the media onslaught.

Stars were a flourish at the ceremony, but the only name that has been published from the NBA was coach Gregg Popovich. The couple and their entourage have given very few details about the wedding, but media reports said they were to follow the religious service with a bash at Vaux-le-Vicomte, a 17th century chateau 35 miles southeast of Paris.

This is a great, positive thing for the NBA. Amid all of the scandals that seem to creep up all the time (i.e. Allen Iverson's lawsuit), Parker is a breath of fresh air--a true champion.
