Raptors Clinch First Divisional title EVER!

The Raptors had clinched their first playoff spot last week in style, but they weren't finished. With The Chicago Bulls routing the New Jersey Nets combined with the Raptors' win over the 76ers, Toronto clinched their first Atlantic Division title in the process. Chris Bosh, Toronto's "Mr. Everything", sparked the win with 23 points and 13 boards. Anthony Parker, Juan Dixon, and T.J. Ford each added 12 points apiece.

"You come to all of these arenas and they have division championship banners up in the rafters," Toronto coach Sam Mitchell said. "If you are trying to start a culture of winning, these guys need to start seeing the fruits of their labor and those things are important."

Toronto's turnaround is pretty remarkable, considering that for the first 11 years of existence, they had only had 3 winning seasons and a total winning percentage of less than 40%. The talent level of this team does not just stop with Bosh--they are deep and have the skills to make it to the top. Yes, the West may be the best in the end with such an imbalance in more than just win-loss records, but let's not forget that no one gave the Pistons a chance either before they went on their "little run". If there's a team that continue to drive this momentum through the playoffs, it will be the Raptors. Sure, the Bulls have been red-hot, but inconsistent shooting could do them in--and the Raptors could be the team to stop them. Congrats!
