Rumor: Bibby to Heat

The Heat thought they were saving some money and getting some quality in picking up free agent Smush Parker from the LA Lakers this summer. Warning--cliche coming...

You get what you pay for.

Citing Miami's slow start, the rumor mill has started that when Mike Bibby returns from a hand injury, that the Heat will make a strong push to trade for him. There are some expiring contracts that the Kings could be interested in, and Ron Artest may be put in to sweeten the deal tremendously. It's obvious that Reggie Theus has handed the team over to the guards overall, and even though Bibby has been hurt, Kevin Martin has been lighting it up and pick up Bino Udrih has filled in nicely.

Even though the Heat getting Anfernee Hardaway has actually paid great dividends so far, the Heat overall have got to get some new blood in there--and Bibby would fit in nicely.
