Andrei Kirilenko continues to cry the blues to the Jazz. Richard Jefferson seems like he is a name that is mentioned often in trade talks. What do you get when you put the two of them together? Another rumored trade, which would send the disenchanted AK-47 to the Nets and Jefferson to the upstart Jazz.
It would actually be a good move for both teams financially, who could get high profile players at the same time. From the Jazz's perspective, Jefferson is a proven scorer. He averages 16.3 points per game in his career and, although he's only a 33-percent shooter from the three-point line, his ability to attack the basket and finish is outstanding.
From the Nets perspective, Kirilenko does a lot more than Jefferson does as a whole, but he doesn't give them that much more that Vince Carter and Jason Kidd already provide. Will it happen? Probably not, but it's always nice to dream....
