Shaq going through the Big D, and I don't mean Dallas

Shaquille O'Neal is going through the big D. In the words of the immortal Tammy Wynnette (Yes, I know I just lost about half of you), "D-I-V-O-R-C-E". He and his wife, Shaunie O'Neal, have filed in Miami Dade County court after five years of marriage. The two have six children total, four between the two of them (jeepers, did she spend the entire marriage pregnant?) and 1 each from previous relationships.

According to the filing, which was first reported by The Miami Herald on its Web site Tuesday night, Shaquille O'Neal is asking Shaunie O'Neal to provide a "correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities" that she had access to or obtained during the marriage.

They do have a pre-nup, but my guess is that with the huge family they have, she'll be getting a pretty penny (and not Hardaway bah-dum-tish). He currently makes 20 million a year and they obviously have had tons come in during that time from endorsements. How this will affect Shaq's play on the court is yet to be determined, although it can't really make it much worse....
