Shooting is hereditary

Those of us who watched a lot of basketball in the 80's and 90's know the name Curry. Dell Curry played 16 seasons and never averaged more than 16 points a season. He was known for having one of the best and quickest releases in NBA history. So I was surprised watching the NCAA tournament this week. It turns out that quick release is hereditary.

Stephen Curry plays for the Davidson, the surprise team of the tournament. Opponents are starting to fear the younger Curry the way they feared his father. In 3 games he has scored 103 points leading his 10th ranked team into the elite eight. His father could not be prouder. Dell stated the "in the NBA, I never experienced this as a player. I don't think even in all my playoff games in my career that I've felt like this. To see your son succeed and have fun on a national stage is great."
