The San Antonio Spurs were facing the unthinkable--a five game losing streak?? Seriously? Noooo. Tim Duncan and company dropped four in a row? Wow. Well, so much for that. The Spurs avoided having that fifth in a row by blowing out the Bulls 102-89 in Chicago.
Poor Chicago. They were facing a team that they were already overmatched by and one that was angry and frustrated by their ability to win the last few games. So, Tony Parker went out and scored 23. Duncan had 22 and 10 boards. And the Spurs looked immediately back on track. Luol Deng had 18 and Drew Gooden 16 for the Bulls.
Speaking of Chicago, I thought that trade with Cleveland was really supposed to help...The Bulls are now 14 games under .500 and just look pathetic. Almost as if they are just walking corpses out there--no leadership, no will. I thought the only place you are supposed to see that now is Minnesota and Miami. Guess not.
