The Phoenix Suns knew they were running into a tough run when they looked at their schedule--even though they had won seven straight and actually made the Shaquille O'Neal deal look palpable, they knew going into the Palace and then traveling to Boston would be tricky. They tried, and they failed miserably.
After two games against what will more than likely be one of the teams in the NBA Finals, the Suns are saying "No Mas". They certainly have played better than when Shaq was first acquired, and going on the road is never easy, but dang--they got smoked by the Celtics by 20 and never really had an answer for Kevin Garnett, who posted 30 on them. Not that Phoenix has ever had a defensive stopper, but.....
But don't sell Phoenix down the river quite yet--this was Boston's first victory over them in the last six tries--but obviously it shows that they have some work to do to overcome those road woes in some of the better team's houses.
