Super Spurs again dispatch Cavs in game 2

Ok, so the scoreboard read an 11 point difference in the final score. But...those of us that watched the game know a lot better. The Spurs look sensational, superb, superfluous, and any other "S" word that makes them look great.

Building a 29-point lead in game 2, the Spurs again rode the combination of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker to a smackdown of the Eastern Conference champs. Parker lead the way with 30 points, and both Ginobili and Duncan dropped 25 and 23, respectively. The play of this team had fans already chanting "Sweep, Sweep"....and that could be very possible with the way they have played.

Alas, let us not forget that the Cavs were down 0-2 to the once invincible Pistons, and then stormed back to take the next four. With the series turning to Cleveland, it could very well change momentum if Lebron James and company have anything to say about it. James had a better game 2 (how could he not) with 25 points on 9-21 shooting, but his supporting cast has been dreadful, as the team overall barely eclipsed 40% shooting for the game. In order for them to overcome the Spurs' swarming (another S word) defense, they will have to play as a complete team. With their youth, that may be hard to do at this stage.

Will "Cleveland Rock"? Stay tuned...
