Timberwolves have Jazz' number

Jazz2005.jpg

19=the number of wins the Minnesota Timberwolves have this year.
46=the number of wins the Utah Jazz have this year.
2-1=Minnesota's record against the Jazz

Huh? Seriously? Yep. And to lose the way they have, not even being close in those games at Minnesota (both double digit losses), it really exposes the issue that the Jazz have with winning away from Salt Lake City. Sure, the Jazz were without Andrei Kirilenko, but teams that have won almost 50 games in a year should be able to beat teams that haven't even won 20 without a decent player.

With a losing record on the road overall--16-22, and being in the brutal western conference, the Jazz have to figure something out in terms of what they can do--because while they may win their division, but the fact is that they stand at fourth in the West and are only 3 games behind San Antonio--but also just three ahead of ninth place Golden State. It could prove deadly in the end.

The remaining schedule for the Jazz is not going to be easy--either on the road or at home. They have 2 against San Antonio (1 home, 1 away), and while they have 5 games at home and 3 away, 6 of those games are against playoff contenders--ouch. (And those three games away are against teams that are already extremely tough at home--Spurs, Hornets, and Mavericks). Good luck--you're going to need it.
