What are Wizards' options now?

Gilbert Arenas has been the core of the Washington Wizards for several seasons, there is no one on the planet that will deny that. With himself and Caron Butler ending the year with injuries, the Wizards folded quicker than a player with a 2-7 offsuit in texas hold'em. And now--they face the unthinkable again--Arenas is out for 3 months.

What could ultimately make or break the season, the Wizards must find a way to retool their team; they've already had to deal with Etan Thomas being lost with a heart issue for the season, so now what?

Go inside, young man, go inside.

With vets Butler and Antawn Jamison, plus the surging Brendan Haywood, the Wizards will have to win games down low. Butler was already a star in the making before he went down last year, Jamison has plenty of NBA experience, and Haywood has quickly developed into a formidable force in the paint. The problem, though, is that the Wizards were already a pretty lean team, and now without Arenas, the starters are already being leaned on for a lot of playing time. If they want to remain in contention while Arenas is out, they must go and get a mid-level sixth man or lower level starter to keep their heads above water.
