What in the name of Michael Jordan is wrong with the Bulls?

At the beginning, Bulls fans were clamoring--another upward descent of a team that was continuing to mature and become better, a pretty good draft, let's bring the season on!

phhhhhbt. Like the air that went out of Al Capone's vaults when Geraldo Rivera embarrassed himself over two decades ago, so have the Chicago Bulls. The team can't get it together, are bickering, and now even the dramatic one, Kobe Bryant, is probably wishing he'd eaten his own crow when he said he's rather play for them than his current team.

So what is going on? Well, yes, they did start 0-9 last year, and fans have become to Ben Gordon stinking it up the first month of the season, much like Ryne Sandberg used to do for the Cubs. But it has to be the constant trade talks and chemistry issue that continues to wade down this team, and when late last week John Paxson, the team's GM, came out and said that they were no longer in discussion with the Lakers for Bryant, it was a good start. Now stop the rumors and your team should feel just like that---a team.
