Whew! Bosh finally back

bosh_300_070105.jpg

Chris Bosh was not supposed to be out this long. After ten games with a knee injury he suffered against the Indiana Pacers back in February, he will suit up against the Miami Heat, and the Toronto Raptors couldn't be happier.

Their trip out to the West coast was a debacle, as the team went 0-5 and now are only 1 game over .500, and even though the Raptors are still standing as the #5 seed in the Eastern Conference currently, the fact is that this team is struggling and needs their leader in both scoring and rebounding on the court until the end of the season. T.J. Ford is good, but not good enough to do what Bosh does night in and night out.

While it's unknown how much playing time Bosh will ultimately get tonight, let's not forget that the game is against the Miami Heat, who won just their 12th game on the season. If things go as they should, the Raptors won't NEED Bosh much more than he is capable of doing this evening. But one thing should definitely happen--by simply joining his team, a spark and chemistry should be cooking once again. If it doesn't, it could be a short postseason (again).
