One of the most prolific shooters in the NBA history, Reggie Miller, is possibly being beckoned out of retirement, by none other than the most active team in the league, the Boston Celtics. Miller, who played 18 years without a ring for the Pacers, has been retired for 2 seasons.
When he discussed the possibility, he made it clear while he missed the NBA, he didn't miss the aches and pains every morning, and noted that he, "is enjoying his time as an analyst for TNT". Doesn't sound like Reggie is really all that interested on the surface.
But let's face it--he put in almost 2 decades without winning a championship, and now he has the possibility to back up Ray Allen and hit some big shots (a la Robert Horry) for a team suddenly revitalized by some killer talent. Don't rule Reggie out yet. If he does, this would shake the NBA to the core--the Celtics mean business, and watch out Western Conference!
